AUSTIN - A deep fryer fire was extinguished Saturday at an Austin-area Burger King restaurant, the Austin Fire Department said.
"Firefighters made a whopper of stop and kept the damage to a minium," the AFD said in a tweet.

All puns aside, the AFD said no injuries were reported but the restaurant would remained closed for the remainder of the evening.
Officials said the fire originated in a deep fryer and extended to the vent system and kitchen.
