‘We have snow in Houston!': J.J. Watt freaks out about rare snowfall

HOUSTON - You're not the only Texan who was giddy about this rare snowfall.

Snow has been spotted all over Texas since Thursday after temperatures dropped across the state. Snow stuck in some areas more than others.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt took to Facebook Thursday night to express his excitement about the snowfall in Houston.

“When I got drafted by Houston back in 2011 I was sure that I was never going to see this day. But the day has come. I don’t know if I could possibly be more excited. It’s not quite sticking to the ground but we have snow in Houston!” Watt said as he leaned back and tasted a snowflake.

Over 700,000 people viewed the huge smile on Watt’s face as he swayed outside in amusement.

“I don’t know if you can see it, I don’t care if you can see it, but there’s snow. It’s coming down. This is awesome. Houston, Texas snow, this is incredible!” Watt said, as happy as a kid who's seen his first snow.
