Two people rescued in the Greenbelt

AUSTIN - Austin-Travis County EMS said they rescued two people in the Greenbelt on Sunday.

EMS said they originally responded to a report of one person falling from an unspecified height near the Spyglass access trail, but Austin Fire made contact and reported two patients.

EMS said one person received minimal injuries and did not require treatment, but one trauma alert had been declared.

Westlake Fire Department crews used ATV's to rescue the patients.

EMS said the patients were taken to St. David's South Austin Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
