‘Selena' debuted 20 years ago this month. Here's how you can celebrate

TEXAS - Twenty years ago this month, the film that chronicled the Queen of Tejano music's short life debuted. To celebrate, Alamo Drafthouse's Rolling Roadshow is throwing a two-day party in San Antonio.

Scheduled to kick off March 24, "Selena" will be featured at Historic Sunset Station, a "super special location," the event page announced. Not only did Historic Sunset Station serve as the location for the music video to Selena Quintanilla-Perez's song, "No Me Queda Mas," but a staircase at the location was the backdrop during the fashion show scene in the movie.

"... Meaning that those stairs were walked by both Selena and Jennifer Lopez, and at these events you can walk on them, too," the event page read.
