Suspect calls 911 to report his own crime, officials say

WILLIAMSON COUNTY - On Wednesday around 3 a.m., Williamson County deputies responded to a call in reference to a stabbing near the 9800 block of Copper Creek Drive in Austin. 

Officials said a victim was found with non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by EMS. 

According to a press release from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, officials found and identified the suspect, Jorge Reyes, who reportedly made the call to 911 stating he had stabbed the male victim. 

Officials said a knife was recovered and they detained Reyes without incident.
