Suspect accused of breaking into North Austin storage units

AUSTIN - A man allegedly broke into multiple storage units over the course of two days in North Austin.

The suspect, later identified as Sean Breazeale, 26, used a lock-picking set to break into numerous storage units on Sept. 25 and 26, police said. Breazeale and an accomplice, later identified as Tayler Gregg, entered the storage facility by bypassing the electronic access on the entrance and exit gates, the affidavit reports.

Police said Breazeale targeted units at the Econo Self-Stroage at 6701 N. Lamar Blvd. that had a similar make and model of lock. All the locks of the entered units had similar prying marks around the same area.

Breazeale allegedly took a tablet and a box from one of the units, officials reported, but didn't take anything during the second burglary incident as another customer entered the storage facility.

Breazeale was charged with burglary of a building and taken to the Travis County Jail with a bond set at $10,000.
