| Recommended Wal-Mart wins battle in war over new store

A state district judge on Friday refused to block a super Wal-Mart from being built on the site of Northcross Mall.
The neighborhood group Responsible Growth for Northcross took the city and Lincoln Properties to court -- arguing the city illegally approved plans for the store.
Late Friday afternoon State District Judge Orlinda Naranjo ruled that the approval process did not violate city ordinances.
