03:46 PM CST on Wednesday, December 12, 2007
Williamson County District Attorney John Bradley has filed for re-election.
Williamson Co. DA's Office
John Bradley
Bradley was appointed district attorney by Governor Rick Perry in 2001.
He has been with the Williamson County District Attorney's Office since 1989, when he was hired as an assistant district attorney.
"Among counties with a population of 100,000 or more," said Bradley, "Williamson County in 2006 had the lowest crime rate in the State of Texas. That is the direct result of a combined effort by law enforcement, the judiciary, our juries and the hard work of a great team in the District Attorney's Office."
Bradley will run as a Republican.
