A truck was pulling out of a convenience store onto Westgate Blvd. near Slaughter Lane when power lines caught the cab of truck, forcing it to overturn.
Power was knocked out to area businesses, but residents were not affected.
"I don't know how in the world you knock down a power line with a 13-6 foot truck, especially a little local city delivery truck like he's got," said Andy Bruchey, personal trainer. "I'm losing money... because we have to shut our businesses down. I wish he got his cigarettes somewhere else."
Hazardous chemicals, including hydrochloric acid, are inside the truck but have not leaked out. The area was temporarily evacuated.
Crews were working to secure the power lines and right the truck.
No injuries were reported.
