Friends and family Monday were mourning the loss of a Central Texas teenager who died in a car crash Saturday afternoon.

Department of Public Safety officials say Chloe Ann Cross, 17, died when her car crossed into incoming traffic on Highway 183 near Texas 29, slamming into another vehicle.

The driver and passengers of the second car remained in critical condition at Brackenridge Hospital.

DPS troopers were investigating another deadly accident just east of Fredericksburg.

Sally Anne Street, 46, was riding on a motorcycle when she and the driver were hit by a car.

Authorities say the motorcycle driver had run a stop sign.

Both the driver of the motorcycle and the car are in good condition.
