Man charged with intoxication manslaughter after deadly Del Valle crash

One man faces charges after a deadly wreck in Del Valle.
Department of Public Safety troopers say Miguel Octavo, 26, crossed the median on FM 812 just south of Highway 183 early Saturday morning.
He hit an oncoming car head-on, killing the passenger, 37-year-old Pilar Mota.
The driver of that car, Rosa Mocgezuma, 26, was listed in stable condition at Brackenridge Hospital.
Troopers say Octavo had an open can of beer in his car. He was arrested at the hospital.
He is charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle and intoxication manslaughter.
