Trial date set in MySpace sex assault case
02:39 PM CDT on Tuesday, October 9, 2007
A trial date has been set for a Central Texas man accused in the sexual assault of a teenager he met on MySpace.com.
Pete Solis, 20, will go on trial January 28. He's charged with sexual assault of a child.
Police say in May of 2006 Solis and a Bowie High School student -- who was 14 years old -- met on MySpace and later agreed to meet in person.
The girl's mother sued MySpace and Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott later called on MySpace to proved better security.
