A much anticipated meeting at the State Capitol was set to debate Monday the possibility of more toll roads for Metro Austin.

Hundreds were expected to speak Monday night at the last public hearing before the CAMPO board votes on several additional toll roads for the Austin area.

The one drawing the most attention is a plan to build an elevated tollway at the "Y" in Oak Hill.

Toll roads are also proposed for Highway 183 South from Interstate 35 to the airport, Highway 290 East from 183 to State Highway 130, Highway 71 East west of Riverside to Presidential Boulevard and SH 45 from Loop 1 to F.M. 1626 in Southwest Austin.

Each one has brought out its share of critics and supporters.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m.

The CAMPO board will vote on October 8.
