Police arrest University of Texas football player

Austin police say they arrested University of Texas starting defensive tackle Lamarr Houston early Sunday morning.
Houston was arrested following a minor accident on the service road of I-35.
Police charged Houston for driving while intoxicated.
Houston was taken to jail and released on $3,000 bond.
Sunday afternoon football coach Mack Brown said Houston will not be joining the team next weekend for the game against University of Texas - El Paso.
