A Travis County jury returns a guilty verdict against a man accused in the 1990 killings of two Austin cab drivers.

Alerto Garcia, 43, is guilty of capital murder and faces a possible death sentence of life in prison.

In December of 1990, Eleazar Hinojosa, 57, was found fatally shot in his cab. Two days later, John Parrish, 41, was fatally shot and police found his body inside the truck of his cab.

Evidence showed the men were killed by the same gun.

The punishment phase for Garcia is expected to wrap up sometime next week.
