| Recommended Texas parks receive financial boost

The Texas Parks and Wildlife commission Thursday approved a $3.66 million dollar grant to fund 41 trail projects.
Five Austin area communities received national grants.
Both the Spring Lake Trail in San Marcos and the Lost Pines hike and bike trail in Bastrop received $100,000.
