The City of Round Rock closed a popular skate park Friday afternoon as police try to address growing misdemeanor criminal activity at the park.

The skate park -- which fully opened in mid-July -- is located on Gattis School Road.

Police have responded to 115 calls about the park since February, including reports of drugs, disturbances, and damage to the park.

The park will reopen in one week on August 25.
