Man arrested in Southeast Austin stabbing death

Police have made an arrest in one of two deadly stabbings early Monday morning in Southeast Austin.
Epifaneo Torres, 37, is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Edgar Gomez. Torres is being held on $100,000 bond.
Just after 1 a.m. Monday, officers found Gomez dead in the street on Thrasher Lane just off Riverside Drive.
(07/28)His body was found just moments after another man was found stabbed to death in a parking lot a couple of miles down Riverside.
Police don't know if the murders are connected.
