Democratic leader Howard Dean addressed thousands of political bloggers Thursday evening at the Austin Convention Center.

The bloggers are here for Netroots Nation, a three-day conference of left-leaning bloggers. 

These internet writers have played a significant role in the presidential race.  Now Dean is asking them to use their power to help register more Democratic voters.

Earlier Thursday, Dean was in Crawford to start a three-day bus tour.  From Austin, Dean plans to take his voter registration message to Mississippi and Louisiana.
