| Recommended Construction expected to close I-35 through Georgetown tonight

If you're traveling through Georgetown on Interstate 35 Wednesday night, be prepared for several lane closures.
Construction work on the new frontage road bridges at State Highway 29 will shut down two lanes of I-35 in both directions beginning at 7 p.m.
The work is expected to be completed by 7 a.m. Thursday, but Thursday is also a backup day in case the work takes longer than expected.
