| Recommended Mandatory water restrictions issued for parts of Central Texas

Officials for two different agencies on Monday declared mandatory water restriction for parts of Central Texas.
Residents getting water from the Edwards Aquifer must reduce their usage by 20-percent. That affects people from Buda and San Marcos to Sunset Valley and San Antonio.
Utility companies are expected to contact customers.
The reduction also affects people who have permitted wells connected to the aquifer.
