Adam Cohen

Adam Cohen, 26, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child, according to the Williamson County District Attorney's Office.

He was arrested after the 16-year-old from Leander reported the January assault.

Cohen had already been prosecuted in Travis County in 2007 for failing to register as a sex offender after serving a sentence in Maryland for assaulting a 15-year-old.

Cohen was sentenced to 20 years in prison for each charge, which he must serve consecutively. He will not be eligible for parole for 20 years.
