Helicopter crash injures 2 in Bartlett

Two people were injured when a civilian helicopter crashed near the Williamson-Bell county line Monday, Williamson County EMS officials and Department of Public Safety dispatchers said.
It happened before 11:30 a.m. on Highway 96 and Elm in Bartlett.
Officials say one person was flown to Brook Army Medical Center with 2nd and 3rd degree burns, while another went to a hospital in a personal vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
