Pete I. Solis
The felony charge against Pete Solis was reduced after pleading guilty Friday to injury to a child.
Solis will spend 90 days in jail and will avoid the requirement to register as a sex offender.
Police say the assault happened in May 2006. At the time, Solis was 19 when he met a 14-year-old Bowie High School student on Myspace.com.
The girl's mother sued Myspace.com, and Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott later called on Myspace.com to provide better security.
