03:31 PM CDT on Monday, April 3, 2006
The former set of "The Real World - Austin" will soon open as a real restaurant. The Mexican restaurant will open at San Jacinto and 3rd Street in downtown Austin this Saturday. The restaurant will still feature some of the props used during the popular MTV show, including a 17-foot Big Tex neon sign and a historic "Austin" sign from the Austin Theater. Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant is already in six Colorado cities, including Boulder and Steamboat Springs.
