Controversial 'immigrant hunt' event planned at UT

A controversial event will happen Wednesday on the University of Texas campus. The Young Conservatives of Texas plan to hold what they call an illegal immigrant hunt.

A similar event happened last month at the University of North Texas.

Participants tracked down people who wore color coded shirts that read "illegal immigrant" on the front and "catch me if you can" on the back.

UNT officials said they could not stop the event because it's considered free speech.

In Austin, several student groups have asked the university to stop it from happening.

They promise to hold a counter-demonstration if it goes forward.
