The body of a man found Tuesday morning floating in Lady Bird Lake has been identified.

Edgar A. Deleon Moreno, 33, was spotted by a passerby near the downtown hike and bike trail about 100 yards from the statue of Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Family members say he had been missing since December 30. He was last seen at 5th and Trinity.

Police said the victim drowned. An autopsy was ordered.

Officers say toxicology tests will be done to help shed more light on case.
