San Marcos police searching for suspects in pizza restaurant robberies

The San Marcos Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects in two separate pizza restaurant robberies that police believe may be linked.

The first robbery was on Sunday, April 16, at the Pizza Hut in the 900 block of Bugg Lane. Witnesses told police that at least one man was armed with a black handgun and the suspects demanded cash. They fled the restaurant with a few hundred dollars, police said.

The second robbery was just after midnight at the Dominos at 350 N. Guadalupe. Police believe the same suspects entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash from the register. They took $100 and fled on foot into a nearby alley.

Nobody was injured in either incident.

The suspects are described as about 6 feet tall and slender. One of the suspects was wearing a gray hoodie pulled up to cover the lower half of his face. The second suspect was wearing a black shirt with pants and a camo bandana over his face.

Anyone who recognizes the men or has information on the robberies should call Detective Michael Casillas with the San Marcos Police Department at 512-753-2182 or the Criminal Investigations Division at 512-753-2300.
