AUSTIN - After arresting two men suspected to be behind a Sonic robbery that resulted in the injury of one of the restaurant's employees, police have identified a third suspect.
At around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 13, the employees at the Sonic located off of Parmer Lane had just closed the business and were cleaning when two men walked through the door and allegedly demanded money. One of the men had a gun, according to authorities.
Before allegedly shooting one of the employees in the leg, the employees said the men made off with money.
Employees later said they suspected at least one of the men who allegedly robbed them were regular customers at the restaurant and investigators identified them through social media as Ricky Gomez and Xavier Lewis.
Following their arrest, Gomez allegedly confessed to police that he was the getaway driver in the robbery and that Lewis, along with another man named "Terrence," entered the Sonic.
Investigators then identified the third man as Terrence Williams, 19. Williams is not in custody as of Thursday morning, according to online records with the Travis County Jail.
