No suspects in custody yet in North Austin shooting

AUSTIN - Police said after two suspects entered a North Austin resident’s home Tuesday afternoon and demanded property, the resident has been sent to the hospital with four life-threatening injuries.

Austin police said a 38-year-old man was taken to the hospital after the shooting which happened in the 10400 block of Little Pebble Drive in North Austin at 2:13 p.m. Police said the victim was alert when officers arrived.

Police said the suspects are not in custody as of Tuesday afternoon and could not provide information on the vehicle they fled the scene in.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area and said the incident is believed to be isolated and they do not believe there to be any threat to the public at large.
