Police: 5 men assaulted, robbed Texas State student in dorm

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS - Police are searching for five men who assaulted and robbed a Texas State University student in his dorm room Tuesday.

According to Texas State police, they received a call about an assault and robbery at Smith Hall at about 9:30 p.m. After police arrived and spoke with the alleged victim, he said he was answering a knock at his door when the five men assaulted him and took some of his belongings from his room. They then left in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described as the following:

  • Man standing at 5-feet 6-inches wearing gray pants and a gray hoodie
  • Man standing at 6-feet 4-inches wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans
  • Man standing at 5-feet 6-inches
  • Man standing at 5-feet 7-inches with straight hair wearing a black shirt and jeans
  • Man wearing a white shirt and gray pants
