Man critically injured after motorcycle crash in northeast Austin

AUSTIN - A man was critically injured Saturday night after a motorcycle crash in northeast Austin, Austin-Travis County EMS said.

Officials stated that the collision occurred around 6:35 p.m. near Tuscany Way and Springdale Road. ATCEMS originally reported that a man in his 50s was injured in a collision between an automobile and a motorcycle, but later said they believed the collision only involved the one motorcycle.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries, ATCEMS said.

Closures and delays are expected in the area.
