A man was arrested after police believe he exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl and her grandfather through the window of a restaurant.
According to an arrest affidavit, officers were called around 11:00 a.m. June 7 to 1025 W Stassney Lane where the caller said a man was exposing himself.
The witness told the responding officer that he and his granddaughter were eating a restaurant in the area when they saw the suspect, identified as Wolfgang Bolding, 47, on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Bolding was allegedly facing the restaurant and masturbating while staring at the witness and his granddaughter through a window, according to the affidavit.
The witness told officers that he went outside of the restaurant to tell Bolding to leave, but Bolding said it was his property and he refused to leave or stop what he was doing.
Officers spoke to another person in the area who did not see the incident but was able to identify Bolding from a description. The witness also later selected Bolding from a photo lineup.
Police arrested Bolding and charged him with Indecency with a Child by Exposure, a third-degree felony. He is being held on a $30,000 bond.
