Phone service restored after Liberty Hill residents have issues calling 911 Thursday

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS - Phone service has been restored in Liberty Hill after residents with "515" and "778" phone numbers were not able to call 911 Thursday, Williamson County said. 

According to a release from the county, AT&T was having an issue with its phone lines that have those prefixes. The county said they were able to call other numbers, but just may not have been able to reach 911.

The alternate phone number is 512-943-1394.

At around 5 p.m., phone service was restored, the county said.
