Four people injured in crash in Leander

LEANDER - Four people were injured in a major collision Saturday evening. One of them is in critical condition.

Police said that three cars vehicles were involved in the crash at Crystal Falls Parkway and 183A toll road. Witnesses told police that a red Dodge Charger was traveling westbound on Crystal Falls Parkway and ran the red light at the intersection with 183A. A red Hyundai was traveling southbound on 183A and t-boned the Charger. At least one of the vehicles then hit a gray Ford at the red light. 

The driver and passenger of the Charger were transported to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. The driver has life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the Hyundai was also transported to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the Ford was transported to Seton Williamson County with minor injuries. 

Officials are still investigating the scene and the intersection is expected to remain closed for several hours.
