Getting to and from the U.S. Grand Prix

Traveling to COTA for F1 races

AUSTIN - The Formula 1 US Grand Prix festivities at Circuit of the Americas began Friday with the biggest crowds expected to descend on the track on Saturday and Sunday.

Much like downtown Austin, parking at COTA will be hard to come by this weekend. All of the parking lots at COTA are sold out, but many landowners near the track will be selling parking on their land.

But the city of Austin and Austin Police said if you don't want to park, try taking a shuttle from the Convention Center, the Toney Burger Center, or the Travis County Expo Center. The city said shuttle tickets are $15 if purchased ahead of time online and are $20 if purchased on site.
