The National Transportation Safety Board has released their preliminary report on the Biloxi bus crash that killed four people and injured 39 others on March 7.
The report, available to view here, states the bus was on “a more scenic route along the coast, an alternate route that had been used in previous trips.” Toxicology testing on the bus driver, identified March 15 as Louis Ambrose Jr., was negative for alcohol and other drugs.
The coach was on a multi-day casino tour that originated in Bastrop. It was struck by a train after it became stuck at a railroad crossing. Ken and Peggy Hoffman, Clinton Havran and Deborah Orr were killed in the crash.
