Austin man wanted for alleged child porn possession

AUSTIN - A 37-year-old man is accused of having child porn on his cell phone, including a photo of a 2-year-old child being raped, according to the warrant for his arrest.

Back in August of 2016, police responded to Michael Solsbery's Central Austin residence due to a "family violence" incident that allegedly happened between him and his girlfriend there. After he was arrested, Solsbery's girlfriend used his phone to text his boss.

After sending the text, she said she began looking through his phone and found several pornographic images with children. One of the images depicted an unidentified suspect raping a child estimated to be 2-years-old.

In late September, investigators conducted a search warrant on Solsbery's phone and, after identifying it as his, found multiple images of apparent child porn.

Solsbery -- who is not in Travis County Jail as of Monday afternoon -- faces a child pornography possession charge, a third degree felony. His bond will be set at $100,000.
