Austin hospital to take patients in after Victoria hospital runs out of water

AUSTIN - A hospital in Austin is expecting more than one dozen patients after the hospital they were staying at in Victoria, Texas ran out of water during Hurricane Harvey, a spokesperson for Seton Medical Center said.

According to Shahreen Abedin with Seton Medical Center Austin, 18 medical surgical patients from the DeTar Hospital Navarro will arrive at the Austin hospital located on West 38th Street.

Abedin said the patients were scheduled to leave at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. They are not expected to arrive at Seton until around 3 or 4 a.m. Sunday.
