Arrest made in roman candle robberies, police say

AUSTIN - Police have arrested the man they believe walked into Austin-area gas stations with a "jabbawockeez" mask, a lit roman candle and a hammer before demanding money.

According to police, Sean O'Brien, 44, was arrested Oct. 7 in connection to robberies that happened late September and early October. O'Brien was arrested at his residence in Lockhart.

Police released surveillance video several days ago of a man walking into different businesses wielding a lit roman candle and a hammer before leaving the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.
