APD seeking suspects in Best Buy aggravated robbery

Police are searching for two suspects in an aggravated robbery at a Best Buy store, the Austin Police Department said. 

Officers were called to the Best Buy located at 9607 Research Boulevard on Thursday, Feb. 23, at approximately 8:53 p.m. on reports of a robbery. 

APD said that when the suspects were approached by Best Buy loss prevention officers, the suspects displayed weapons and threatened the officers. The suspects then fled in a dark gray Ford Escape with temporary tags, according to APD.

There were no injuries in the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a white female, approximately 40-years-old, 5'4", 130 pounds with her right leg wrapped in a bandage and using a wheelchair.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 35-years-old, approximately 110 pounds, black hair with some gray and a buzz-cut hairstyle.
