How you can help Hurricane Harvey victims

As Hurricane Harvey hits Texas, many of you in Central Texas are probably wondering what you can do to help.

The American Red Cross and the Austin Disaster Relief Network are asking for volunteers and donations.

The American Red Cross Serving Central Texas is asking for volunteers to work in local shelters and help evacuees from the Texas coast as Hurricane Harvey approaches.

The Red Cross offered trainings for new volunteers on Friday, Aug. 25. Anyone interested in volunteering can click here and fill out the volunteer application before attending training, but doing so is not required. If you would like to donate, click here. For more information call 1-800-928-4271.
