AUSTIN - Since an Austin woman's Shark Tank appearance, her company's sales have skyrocketed 100 times her normal level of business, she told KVUE.
Fresh off her appearance on Shark Tank, Julia Cheek -- founder and CEO of Austin's "EverlyWell" -- has reason to beam. The Harvard Business School grad walked away with a million dollar line of credit after the show. One of the show's "Sharks," Lori Greiner, gave it to her in exchange for 5 percent equity.
EverlyWell sells at-home testing kits online.
Cheek got the biggest valuation deal for a female entrepreneur ever.
"We are just really excited about the product is resonating and everyone's positive comments online and the purchases that we've seen," Cheek said.
Currently EverlyWell sells 16 types of home health tests on its website. The tests range in price from $69 to $399.
