AUSTIN - Weeks after a destructive fire led to the closure of Austin's legendary Franklin Barbecue, another fire broke out at a different barbecue joint in Downtown Austin.
Firefighters responded to Cooper's Old Time Pit Barb-B-Que on Congress Avenue Sunday morning after a fire erupted in the restaurant's cooking ventilation system, causing about $10,000 in damages.
This fire comes three weeks after "a wind-blown ember from the pit ignited surrounding combustible materials" at Franklin Barbecue.
Fortunately there were no injuries in either incident, but the Austin Fire Department said they do have a "suspect" -- The Chick-fil-A cow:
