About 900 Georgetown residents without water after water line leak

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - About 900 residents are without water Wednesday morning as crews work to fix a leaking water line, according to KVUE's news partners at the Austin American-Statesman.

The Statesman reports the outage happened at 7:15 a.m., affecting the Highland, Escalera, Parkside and Mayfield subdivisions along North Leander Road, RM 1431 and CR 176. The Statesman said the repairs should take between six and eight hours.
