Woman carjacked at gunpoint in South Austin

AUSTIN -- A woman was carjacked in South Austin Thursday night.

Police said the victim was robbed at gunpoint by two Hispanic males. The incident took place around 8:38 p.m. at 6721 S. Congress.

Police said the suspects are in their 20's. One suspect wore a bandanna covering his face and was also wearing a white shirt and tan pants.

The woman was driving a white Infiniti G37 with paper tags. The suspects were last seen in the vehicle heading eastbound on William Cannon.

No one was injured. The woman was the only one in the vehicle.

Police said the woman has been trying to track her car through her iPhone.
