PFLUGERVILLE, Texas -- The wife of a man arrested in September for an alleged terror plot has broken her silence.

Martha Guerrero, wife of 56-year-old Manssor Arbabsiar, spoke to KVUE Tuesday and maintained her and her husband’s innocence.

“I want this over with," said Guerrero. "My children and I are under a lot of stress right now because of this situation. We don't have nothing to do with it.”

“My husband and I have not been living together for such a long time. We've been separated for a long time. I don't know nothing about his business or what he does or what he doesn't do,” exclaimed Guerrero.

Neighbors on the quiet cul-de-sac in Pflugerville had a different story. Several residents said they saw Arbabsiar as recently as two weeks ago when they had a garage sale. Some neighbors say that neither Arbabsiar or his wife ever spoke or made eye contact with them.

“There was no conversation. I mean, you could look at them and they'd look straight through you. They were not the most friendly people,” said neighbor Tracy Dove.

Guerrero called the allegations of planning to assassinate an Iranian ambassador to the U.S. ridiculous.

“I may not be living with him, being separated, but I cannot for the life of me think that he would be capable of doing that," said Guerrero. "He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, I'm sure of that and I know that his innocence is going to come out.”
