A rare opportunity Saturday in Georgetown to ride in World World Two-era aircraft.
The city hosted the annual Georgetown Airfest at the city's municipal airport.
The historic aircraft built was in 1941. It was used as a troop carrier and paratroop trainer in World War Two.
Saturday's free event also allowed the big crowd to donate food to The Caring Place, a non-profit who helps people in the Georgetown and northern Williamson County.
