AUSTIN -- The W hotel in downtown Austin is starting a new tradition for New Year's.
The W is hosting its first official New Year's Eve party, taking over the entire second floor of the hotel and the outdoor terrace.
In addition to two local bands, Quiet Company and The Tontons will be playing.
Willie Nelson is performing a New Year's show at the adjacent Moody Theatre. Tickets to Nelson's performance are sold out.
