AUSTIN -- Friday night and Saturday 300 volunteers are spreading out across Travis County trying to estimate the number of homeless people in the area.
The survey's being organized by a group called the Ending Community Homelessness Coalition.
The information will be used by local agencies that help the homeless to try and secure more federal funding.
